Victor Orta wants Tyler Adams as Sevilla move mooted amid £30m Leeds United development

Victor Orta could look to reunite himself with Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams at Sevilla, according to Spanish news outlet, Lacolinadenervion.

The Telegraph reported on 8 June that the 24-year-old could be available for £30million, with Newcastle United one of a number of Premier League clubs interested.

Orta’s return to Sevilla was confirmed on Tuesday 20 June and it’s believed Adams could well be one of the players they look to during the summer window (Lacolinadenervion, 20 June).

Leeds United

Unlikely

It’s highly unlikely that Adams will be eager to make the move to Spain.

He’s proven himself more than capable of making an impact in the Premier League and a return to the top flight will probably be the most realistic transfer.

Brighton have also been rumoured to be showing interest and a move to the South Coast could make a lot of sense. For Leeds, it’s important they manage to generate a decent fee for the 24-year-old.

Leeds United

£30million would go a long way in assisting Leeds with their summer business. With Daniel Farke and Scott Parker in contention for the managerial positions, funds to utilise in the summer would be well-received.

It’s essential the board wrap up their move for their new boss in the coming days. The longer the wait goes on the greater impacted the team will be heading into what promises to be an extremely testing Championship season.

Anything less than an immediate return won’t be accepted by the fan base. The pressure will be firmly on whoever is given the chance to lead the West Yorkshire side next season.

In other Leeds United news, a far more popular first-team ace could be set to follow Firpo out of the club amid new talks with an English club.
