Victor Orta readies offer for Leeds United ace Jack Harrison as agent set for talks
Victor Orta is reportedly readying a contract offer as Leeds United look to keep Jack Harrison at Elland Road for the foreseeable future.
According to LeedsLive [5 December], the 26-year-old’s agent is set to sit down with the club hierarchy for talks over his future in the coming weeks.
Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle were keen on signing him over the summer and with just 18 months left on his deal, Leeds feel the need to tie him down to a longer contract.

Temporary?
Harrison’s value clearly will shoot up if he signs a new deal as players with only 18 months tend to cost a fraction of what they’re actually worth.
Had Newcastle or Spurs shown an interest with him having three or four years left on his contract, Leeds could’ve demanded Kalvin Phillips or maybe Raphinha numbers in exchange for his services.
Now, they have a considerably weak hand in negotiations and Harrison could even hold the club to ransom if he doesn’t get his way.
If Leeds do see a long-term plan of selling him for good money, they can offer him the rise in wages he wants on the condition that he pens an extension until 2026.
Then if Newcastle, with their super deep pockets, come in for him in the summer, the Whites could seek big money and Harrison will not really have much of a say.
Even Spurs could offer the lure of Champions League football if they finish in the top four and that could also make the Englishman want to leave Elland Road.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now scouting an attacker at the World Cup and a January move appears to be on the cards for them.
