Victor Orta now under pressure at Leeds United as manager news drops
Victor Orta is now under pressure at Leeds United as they look to appoint their new manager, according to Miguel Delaney on Friday 10 February.
The Independent journalist shared that the Whites have failed to land their initial three targets to take over from Jesse Marsch in the Elland Road dugout.
Carlos Cobreran and Andoni Iraola were joined by Arne Slot this week in confirming that they would remain at their clubs despite being honoured by the links to West Yorkshire.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Delaney shared the latest from Elland Road as the manager hunt continues to drag out for the Whites.
“Some pressure on Orta now, as Leeds haven’t landed three first targets,” he wrote.
Pressure.
Things have certainly not gone as expected this week at Elland Road.
When Marsch was relieved of his duties after the defeat at Nottingham Forest, many believed that there would be a serious plan in place to get the wheels moving instantly.
That hasn’t happened, with each rejection just showing that Leeds and Orta expected this to be much easier than it has turned out the be before these two huge games with Manchester United.
With Slot and Corberan not happening, there is still hope that Iraola could be the man to take over, although it would take something special for Rayo Vallecano to roll out the red carpet for their main man.
It will be interesting to see the next steps at Elland Road, with games against Everton and Southampton to follow Manchester United this weekend, two games that could decide our season.
Orta simply has to get a move on, and more importantly, get this right.
