Victor Orta appears to mock Leeds United fans as image emerges from Goodison Park

An image has emerged of Victor Orta appearing to mock the Leeds United fans during the Whites’ 1-0 Premier League defeat to Everton.

Séamus Coleman’s second-half goal was enough for Sean Dyche’s side to secure a vital three points and leave the Yorkshire side in the bottom three.

The Leeds chief has yet again come under the spotlight after an image emerged (Conor McGilligan, Twitter, 19 February) of the Spaniard pointing to his ear during the fixture as he appeared to mock the visiting fans.

Bad look

What is actually going from Orta’s head? He has hardly covered himself in glory due to his failed managerial hunt and poor transfer business.

There’s absolutely nothing for the sporting director to be mocking the fans for. The Elland Road faithful are the ones who are parting with their hard-earned money each week to watch the consistent dross which is being served up.

If there’s anyone who needs to look at themself it’s Orta. This isn’t the first time he has mocked the fans due to chants of sack the board, with footage previously emerging after Leeds’ last Premier League win against Bournemouth.

Perhaps he should focus more on doing his job properly instead of continually trying to hit back at his critics. Leeds desperately need some structure in the management department and after the last two results, the board could well look to act instead of allowing Michael Skubala the reins until the end of the campaign.
