UD Ibiza demands surface as Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz pushes for exit

UD Ibiza reportedly want to be well compensated as Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz is set to leave them for Los Angeles FC.

According to AS [23 March], they’re demanding payment as they can earn more than €100,000 which is roughly £88,000 to part ways with the 21-year-old.

As the Pole is on loan at Ibiza from Spain, the second tier side are eligible to get compensation from the loan agreement being terminated.

Twists and turns

It’s ridiculous how long this is taking as it’s been clear for a while that Bogusz does not want to be at Ibiza and is keen on making the move across the Pacific.

However, Ibiza are losing a player in the middle of the season and they feel that they should be due some compensation.

Leeds do not really care about this, probably, as it’s going to be a pittance for them and they have better things to focus on.

They seem least interested in getting Bogusz back to the club and the sooner he’s off the club, the better it’ll be for the hierarchy.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out and whether LAFC do meet their demands as they might be high for a club in the MLS.

Currently, Bogusz stands banished from the first team at Ibiza and it does not seem likely that he’s going to be welcomed with open arms if this move falls through.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites may have yet another injury concern going into the international break as player has trouble with his left ankle after the Wolves win.
