Tyler Roberts, Patrick Bamford and Ian Poveda stuck at Thorp Arch as Leeds United set to take on Watford

Leeds United are set to take on Watford in a Premier League showdown in a matter of hours on Saturday afternoon.

Jesse Marsch has welcomed back some big faces in recent weeks with Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper set to start at Vicarage Road.

Patrick Bamford, Tyler Roberts and Ian Poveda are the three big injuries that are still in rehabilitation.

That Whites trio are stuck at Thorp Arch today ahead of the Watford clash.

Roberts shared videos from his personal Instagram this morning, with the gym work appearing to step up a notch.

His first video was of Bamford: “It must be really close to summer,” he joked.

Left behind.

Roberts and Bamford will be fuming not to be involved at all this afternoon, if not at all for the rest of the season.

The attacking duo leave the Whites with no real senior options off the bench, but their injuries have been big problems.

It is different for Poveda, who picked up his problem while on loan at Blackburn and is on the verge of a return – where he could go back to Ewood Park for the remainder of the campaign.

Jesse Marsch will have been wanting all of his players available for this critical run-in, but it is the Leeds way to always have someone injured.

Thankfully, it looks as though most of the others in the squad have travelled to London, let’s hope they bring us back those huge three points.
