Trabzonspor to meet with Ezgjan Alioski, Leeds exit set to be sealed – report

Leeds United look set to wave goodbye to Ezgjan Alioski this week as his contract at Elland Road expires on Thursday.

Plenty of clubs have been linked with a move for the Macedonian international, with most of those coming from Turkey.

Fanatik have shared a further update on Monday, with Trabzonspor looking to conclude a deal for the left-back as soon as possible.

It is reported that the Turkish club are set to meet with Alioski and his team this week to get ahead of the competition.

The transfer saga has been described as a “storm” with Fenerbache also trying to get a deal across the line.

Headlined as a last-minute deal, it could become one of the sagas of the summer across Europe, with anything possible.

Graham Smyth even reported over the weekend that Alioski could extend his Leeds stay after his current deal expires.

Big fan.

It has been made no secret that Marcelo Bielsa is a big admirer of Alioski, as he played the majority of the Premier League season.

Stuart Dallas was pushed into midfield, and Alioski filled in at left-back with no real rotation option behind him, but he often did it without his name in the headlines.

Without him, Dallas would likely have had to stay in defence, and all of his success may have disappeared – thankfully not.

It will be a sad day when Alioski eventually leaves, but while nothing is happening, there is still a chance that it may not be this year.

Fingers crossed, but it looks as though Turkey will be his next destination.
