Tottenham want to sign Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in summer

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in the summer window, according to The Telegraph.

Spurs made an attempt to sign the 25-year-old winger in the January window but Leeds knocked back their approach.

Fabio Paratici has been alerted to Harrison by Andrea Pirlo who was a team-mate of the Whites winger at New York City.

Key player

Leeds initially signed Harrison on loan from Manchester City. He helped them secure promotion to the Premier League, after that the Whites signed him permanently.

Harrison has initially struggled to find his form this season, but he has now scored seven goals this campaign, including in the match against Wolves before the international break.

He is a key player for Jesse Marsch and it will take a really tempting offer to prise him away.

Harrison is a versatile forward who can play across all three positions upfront, but he is most effective playing on the left-hand side.

Apart from his dribbling skills and his eye for goal, where Harrison really makes an impact is in his boundless energy.

He tracks back a lot to help the defenders out. In fact, Spurs boss Antonio Conte wants to use him as a left wing-back as well as a forward in his 3-4-3 system.

In other Leeds United news, Jesse Marsch has a scouting meeting next week with Victor Orta with a new striker likely on the agenda.
