Tony Dorigo was thrilled to watch the senior debut of Leeds United talent Niall Huggins in the 4-2 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Welsh youth international came on at half-time of the Premier League clash with his side considerably behind but caught the eye of fans.

Dorigo was particularly impressed with how comfortable Huggins was, something which was highlighted in his technical ability on the ball.

Speaking on LUTV this week, Dorigo was delighted to see another under-23s player coming through and making their debut in the Premier League.

"I have to say, didn't look out of place," he said.

"He looked really comfortable, got forward well and technically very good. I was impressed and it was great to see another one of our youngsters coming from and getting his debut."

Gelhardt next.

Huggins is the latest of the crop to come through from the under-23s, and it has to be Joe Gelhardt to make that jump next.

The young striker has been on the bench in the Premier League since that 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace but has yet to be brought on.

In between these latest games, Gelhardt was instrumental in yet another heavy win over Reading in the Premier League 2, and he continues to prove himself.

Marcelo Bielsa is lucky to have such a talented squad of youngsters below the crop of senior players, with our recent transfer business proving to be superb.

Huggins is the latest, but he certainly won't be the last this season.
