Tim Sherwood shares exactly when Farke will be sacked by Leeds after what he’s told on air

Tim Sherwood has insisted that Daniel Farke’s sacking at Leeds United is only a matter of time after a series of Premier League defeats.

The Peacocks have struggled in recent weeks and are now in the relegation zone.

While Leeds produced a valiant comeback against Manchester City, they were still defeated 3-2.

As a result, Farke is under heavy pressure at Elland Road, with the West Yorkshire club now losing six of their last seven matches.

However, Sherwood believes it will only get worse for the Leeds manager.

Tim Sherwood: Leeds United to sack Daniel Farke by Christmas

Leeds are amidst a terrible run of fixtures, and they do not get better anytime soon.

Up next, the Peacocks face Chelsea on Wednesday before hosting Liverpool on the weekend.

Given the quality these two sides possess, Leeds are the favourites to lose both.

As a result, Sherwood believes that two defeats in their next two fixtures could see Farke sacked.

After being told the news that Leeds are considering a change at Elland Road live on air, Sherwood told Sky Sports News on 3 December: “The worry for me with Daniel is that it’s too little, too late.

“He’ll be gone in two games. They’ll lose tonight and then they’ll lose to Liverpool.

“Unfortunately for him, he’ll lose his job. He’ll be home for Christmas.”

Who could replace Farke at Leeds?

One name linked to Elland Road in recent days is Gary O’Neil.

The Englishman did manage to keep Bournemouth and Wolves in the Premier League before he was sacked from the latter club after a terrible start to the 2024/25 campaign.

Another manager linked is Brendan Rodgers, who has been out of a club since he left Celtic earlier this campaign.

However, it remains to be seen if any of these managers are called upon if Farke is sacked.
