Tim Sherwood savages Leeds United ace Patrick Bamford for Jesse Marsch comments
Tim Sherwood has savaged Patrick Bamford for his quotes on former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch back in February.
The former Premier League winner brought up what the Englishman said after his miss in the 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Tuesday, 25 April.
In February, Bamford bemoaned the lack of attacking players around him after the 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest and questioned the tactics of the American. [Indepedent]

Speaking on Premier League Productions’ post-match show, Sherwood said [25/04, 22:13], “He said a lot about his old manager. Now he had a chance to silence him and he doesn’t take it. Unacceptable.”
Should do better
Bamford can’t really blame the critics for his performance especially after he’s been critical of Marsch in the past.
It’s not like the Englishman is having a great season himself either as he’s seldom been fit and even when he has, does not seem to be the most reliable players in front of goal.
He’s never been a clinical finisher and it was an anomaly that he did so well in the first Premier League campaign under Marcelo Bielsa.

Regardless of that, he cannot be missing chances like the one he did at Elland Road on Tuesday and if Leeds go down, fans will not be able to forget that moment for a long time.
He will want to improve on his performances but it’s also important that he takes a good look in the mirror before he questions tactics of managers.
Javi Gracia may not be doing everything right either, but players should not be expressing their views on his selections in public and must keep it within the confines of the dressing room.
In other Leeds United, a Whites player was reduced to tears after what happened this week while he’s also on the cusp of sealing a permanent Elland Road exit.
