Tim Sherwood: Leeds United defender Junior Firpo all over the place
Tim Sherwood has slammed Junior Firpo for his performances during the Leeds United v Brighton game on Saturday.
The Whites’ disappointing league form continued as they failed to beat the Seagulls and ended up drawing the game 0-0.
Firpo, who came back into the side, did not have the best of games, and was shown his place by Sherwood, a Sky Sports pundit, during the half-time show for Premier League Productions.

He said, “Junior Firpo doesn’t know whether to stick or twist. He’s been all over the place.”
Not the best start
Firpo came in through the gates at Elland Road from Barcelona with plenty of promise.
The Spain international impressed at Real Betis, which earned him a move to the Catalan giants.
While he did not impress a great deal at Camp Nou, his chances were limited due to the ever-present Jordi Alba.
The expectation was that, once he was first choice, we would see some of his Betis form under Quique Setien, who coincidentally, also struggled at Barcelona.

However, none of that has happened so far, and if anything, quite the opposite has taken place.
Firpo seems to be a misfit not just in Marcelo Bielsa’s system, but also for the Premier League.
Time and again he seems to be getting bullied and caught out of possession.
Things need to change for him very quickly or he faces the chances of being axed by the manager
