Three Leeds United players almost certain to leave as 60 per cent wage cut claim emerges
Leeds United trio Luis Sinisterra, Illan Meslier and Robin Koch almost certain to leave if the club fail to stay up in the Premier League.
According to the Guardian [27 May], a number of players at Leeds have relegation clauses in their contracts which see wage cuts of 60 per cent.
Relegation would also put any Elland Road redevelopment on the backburner if the San Francisco 49ers takeover does not go ahead.

Massive
Meslier’s had a bad season but Leeds still see him as an option for the future and if he were to be sold, they would’ve liked it to happen in the Premier League.
He has been linked with clubs like Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United and they would have to pay a premium if Leeds are in the top flight.
However, once they get relegated, the valuation of players also reduces and that’s going to happen with the Frenchman.

Sinisterra only joined the club in the summer and should he be sold, he’s going to leave at a price that will see Leeds incurring a loss.
Koch has been one of the regular starters for the Whites and his absence will undoubtedly cost the club a great deal too.
60 per cent pay cuts are massive and some players may decide to jump ship if this has been specified in their contracts.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that an international player at Elland Road has no place at the club next season and a summer transfer is on the cards.
