Thorp Arch source shares what Sam Allardyce has done behind the scenes at Leeds United
New Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce has arrived at Thorp Arch with a “spring” in his step and a “presence about him,” something the club has been “missing for a while,” a source told the Daily Mail.
The boss has been appointed in the role until the end of the campaign, taking over from the sacked Javi Gracia.
He has just four matches to help the Whites stay in the Premier League, with the club currently sitting 17th in the table.

“The improvement in mood during Allardyce’s first 48 hours in charge is said to be in stark contrast to the final days of Gracia’s reign that was brought to an end during talks with Andrea Radrizzani on Monday,” according to the Daily Mail.
“Gracia is friendly, kind and courteous. But much like Bielsa, he was detached during his time at Leeds.
“‘There was a spring in Sam’s step, a presence about him. It’s something we’ve been missing for a while,’ said a source.”

Much-needed boost
There have been several managerial changes in the Premier League this season, some of which have worked superbly and some of which have not.
Leeds fans will be hoping that it is the former case for their club, with the Whites in desperate need of that famous managerial bounce.
Veteran manager Roy Hodgson has already worked wonders upon his return to Crystal Palace, essentially securing their safety after only a handful of matches back in the dugout.
It’s a situation that Leeds will be hoping that Allardyce can copy, but he has just four matches in order to achieve that.
And it’s definitely a very tough task ahead, with league leaders Manchester City first up for Allardyce and his players.
The Whites make the trip to the Etihad knowing full well how difficult it will be to stop Erling Haaland from finding the back of the net, with many of his teammates also capable of devastating Leeds on the pitch.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites want to sign one exit-bound Liverpool player this summer.
