This Lukas Nmecha stat proves just how important he is to Leeds United
Lukas Nmecha has been in fine form for Leeds United since his return from injury at the start of the month.
The 27-year-old has been struggling with fitness issues over recent weeks, but has consistently proved his worth when he has been playing.
Nmecha was on the scoresheet again on Sunday afternoon as Leeds beat Birmingham City on penalties in the FA Cup Fourth Round.
He fired the Whites into the lead just after the break, with Patrick Roberts levelling the tie late on, before Daniel Farke’s side won the shootout.

Lukas Nmecha has been clinical in front of goal
Nmecha had a slow start to his Leeds career after signing for the Whites in the summer, but since the turn of the year, he has really found his feet at Elland Road.
The German grabbed an assist in the previous round of the FA Cup, as Farke’s side beat Derby County 3-1, before coming off the bench to score the winner in a 1-0 victory over Fulham.
He then spent three games out of the team after picking up a small knock, but his absence has had no impact on his form.
Nmecha scored a penalty and grabbed an assist as Leeds came from two goals down to draw 2-2 away at Stamford Bridge last Tuesday, before finding the net again in the win over Birmingham on Sunday.
In fact, the former Manchester City youngster has now scored three goals from his last four shots for the Whites.
His supreme confidence in front of goal at the moment is clear for all to see, and could be a very useful asset for Farke going forward.
How can Daniel Farke utilise Lukas Nmecha
While Nmecha has been impressive in the FA Cup so far, against two Championship sides, he has also had an impact for Leeds in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has seven top-flight goal contributions this term, despite only playing a total of 690 minutes in the league.

On current form, Nmecha has to be starting for Leeds in the Premier League.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin also so important to the way Farke’s side play, it is likely we will see Nmecha and the England international alongside each other up front over the next few weeks.
