Tariq Panja rips into latest Leeds announcement on Twitter
Leeds United have announced that they are releasing their own token on Socios at the start of September.
The fan token will allow holders to access every engagement opportunity on Socios.com including quizzes and leaderboards.
It has led to much criticism from the fanbase towards the 49ers and Andrea Radrizzani, but it will go ahead either way.
Tariq Panja has reacted to the news on his personal Twitter account as the release is only one week away.
The New York Times reporter has slated the decision, and let his disappointment known in simply two words.
“Oh dear,” he wrote.

Oh dear.
It is announced as an opportunity for another step forward for the fanbase on the global scale, but not many seem to agree.
These tokens allow holders to decide on major club decisions and the ability to vote in polls such as which club legends to name training pitches after.
Decisions like that will surely be backed, but when it starts to cost money for fans to join in on this, it could become a real problem.
Fans reacted in their droves to the news on Twitter, with the majority calling for this to be stopped, time will tell if it is a success.
Season-ticket holders and members will get one free token for the rest of their lives, but non-members will need to pay £2.
Hopefully, it doesn’t go any further than that or a problem could be created.
