Swansea v Leeds preview: Team news, head-to-head, where to watch, prediction

Leeds United will return to Championship action on Sunday, travelling to Wales to face midtable outfit Swansea City.

Daniel Farke’s side will be looking to make it two wins in a row following their 2-0 victory against QPR prior to the international break.

Jayden Bogle and Joel Piroe were on the scoresheet for the Whites that day, with Leeds closing the gap on Sunderland to just two points.

Preview

With a 2-0 victory over Marti Cifuentes’ QPR, Leeds were able to gain some ground on Sunderland who could be dethroned at the top of the table by the Whites if they can beat Swansea on 24 November.

Despite the win, Farke’s decision to start Manor Solomon was questionable and the forward’s international form could see him dropped at the weekend.

With 15 games played, it has been a successful campaign for the Whites so far but they have fallen victim to the occasional shock defeat and they can’t afford to repeat that on Sunday.

Depending on other results, Farke’s men could leapfrog Sunderland and Sheffield United and move to the top of the Championship.

Prediction: Swansea 1-3 Leeds United

Leeds have looked ropey on occasions away from home but with a rejuvenated squad after the break, they have more than enough firepower to beat any side in the Championship.

Swansea have had a good season so far but the attacking threats that the Whites possess should be enough to see off the Swans.

Farke’s side should pick up all three points on Sunday.
