Swansea v Leeds potential postponement update shared amid Storm Bert latest

Swansea City versus Leeds United is not at immediate risk of a potential postponement amid an update shared by The Met Office regarding Storm Bert.

The Swans are set to welcome the Whites in the Championship on Sunday (24 November), with club football returning after the international break.

With strong winds expected to cause dangerous conditions and disruptions in parts of England and Wales, The Met Office have shared a weather update on their official website for the Swansea area, with no weather warnings in place.

It bodes well for the Elland Road faithful, who have a long drive down to Wales to support Daniel Farke’s team, although fans may have to cope with rain, with 50 per cent chance of precipitation around kick-off.

Leeds United need to build winning run against Swansea

With several supporters travelling to Swansea to support the Whites in such dire conditions, the players have an obligation to give their best and bring joy to the away end.

The Peacocks were on an eight-match unbeaten run in the league before losing 1-0 to Millwall on 6 November.

Farke managed to get his team back on track against QPR in what was a rather nervy 2-0 victory, with Leeds holding on to a one-goal lead for the majority of the game before Joel Piroe found the back of the net in stoppage time.

Swansea have had a brilliant defensive record at home this season, conceding just thrice, and the Whites strikers will need to have their shooting boots on.

Supporters will be hoping that the Peacocks can attain promotion to the Premier League at the end of the campaign after narrowly missing out last term.

Leeds entered the weekend fourth in the Championship but have a chance to get closer to those at the top of the table with a win over the Swans.
