Swansea striker Joel Piroe priority revealed as Leeds United eye summer transfer

Swansea striker and Leeds United striker Joel Piroe will decide his next club based on the attraction of the project, according to Wales Online.

The media outlet [20 July] claim that finances will not dictate where the 23-year-old Dutchman will move this summer.

The Whites do have a new project in the making as they’ve seen a change in ownership as well as a new manager at the helm in Daniel Farke.

Good move?

What the Whites need are players who have shone in the Championship and are arguably mid-table Premier League level players.

That case can certainly be made for the Dutch striker who’s enjoyed his time at the club but feels that a move to a bigger club may be on the cards.

He certainly will have ambitions of playing in the top flight and has that chance if he moves to Elland Road and Leeds secure promotion.

Leeds United

The Whites certainly have a better chance than Swansea to finish in the top two and they will be adding to their firepower this summer.

New owners are in and they will want to get the club back to the Premier League as they intended on completing the takeover with that status.

Hopefully, Piroe, a striker who’s been called “Excellent” by manager Russell Martin is brought to the club this summer.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have agreed on personal terms to secure their next signing after Ethan Ampadu.
