Swansea early team news v Leeds United – Trio ruled out of Championship clash
Leeds United have been handed a boost ahead of their trip to Swansea with the Welsh club missing Jisung Eom for the contest.
The Welsh team will be without Eom, Sam Parker and Josh Ginnelly for the match on 24 November but have no fresh injury concerns.
Jay Fulton is in contention for the match after recovering from a calf problem and returning to first-team training this week.
Manager Luke Williams gave an update in his pre-match press conference, saying: “We’re in good shape. We have Jay Fulton in full training, which is great news and he’s looking very sharp,”
“Eom is not with the full squad training yet, he’s doing well and his rehabilitation is on track. We’ll hopefully see him in full training next week.
“Sam Parker is very close, he’ll do some squad training this week and will hopefully be fully integrated next week.
“We’re getting there again with Josh Ginnelly, we’re really optimistic with him and can’t wait to see him back out on the pitch.”
Missing Eom gives Leeds a boost
The South Korean has been Swansea’s most exciting player this season, bringing a spark to an attack that has been mostly lacklustre so his absence will give Leeds a boost as they try to arrest a winless run of four games away from home.
In 651 Championship minutes so far, the 22-year-old has taken 2.21 shots per 90, ranking in the top 30 percentile in the league. [Fotmob]
He has recorded 1.94 successful crosses per game and a 36.8 per cent successful cross ratio, which ranks him in the 7 and 12 per cent respectively.

He boasts a dribble success rate of 54.2 per cent, which put him in the top 20 per cent in the league for that metric.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke will be ecstatic that the Swans are missing a player of that caliber, a dangerous attacking threat that can operate across the front three, causing problems from all around especially with Largie Ramazani potentially back for the trip.
The Whites could go top of the table with a win depending on Sunderland and Sheffield United’s results, they currently sit third just two points from the top spot.
