Super Computer predicts Leeds will finish 10th in Premier League
American polling website FiveThirtyEight have crunched the numbers to predict that Leeds United will finish in the top half of the Premier League.
The Whites continued their impressive run of form when they thrashed Burnley 4-0 at Turf Moor to further solidify their top-half credentials.
Rodrigo joined the party to score an impressive brace while Mateusz Klich’s strike from long distance was undoubtedly the best goal of the game.
With that win, Leeds United moved up to 53 points and sit four clear off 11th-placed Aston Villa.
This means that one win from their next two, no matter what Villa do, will be enough for Leeds to finish in the top half.
However, FiveThirtyEight are giving Leeds a respectable 29 percent chance to finish 9th and 13 percent for 8th.
There’s also a 3 percent chance of them finishing in 11th.
Great news
Our two remaining fixtures are against Southampton and West Brom – two winnable games.
The super Computer has given us four points from these two games but our intention should be to get six and try finishing 8th or 9th.
Arsenal, who sit 9th at the moment, have Crystal Palace and Brighton left while Everton have the trickiest run in – facing Manchester City and Wolves.
Everton have a GD of 3 while ours is 4 – meaning that us winning our next two and them winning one and losing another would see us finish higher than them.
For us to finish above Arsenal too, they would have to lose either game and we must win both. All these outcomes are possible and we must keep our feet on the gas until the final minute of the final game of the season.
Having fans back at Elland Road is going to be a special occasion and hopefully, they can carry the team to three points against West Brom.
