Super Computer predicts Leeds United relegation chances from Premier League after 2-2 draw v Brighton
Leeds United currently stand a 31% chance of being relegated from the Premier League this season, according to Five-Thirty-Eight and their Super Computer.
The Whites battled to a 2-2 draw against Brighton at Elland Road on Saturday (11 March), with Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford finding the back of the net for Javi Gracia’s side.
Despite currently sitting 19th in the Premier League, the Super Computer has backed Leeds to finish 16th at the end of the season and to avoid relegation by a single point.

As it stands, it predicts that Southampton will finish bottom of the pile with 34 points, while Bournemouth will join them despite picking up a 1-0 win over Liverpool at the weekend.
Nottingham Forest are expected to be the final team to be resigned to Championship football next term, missing out on survival via an inferior goal difference to Everton.

Worryingly close
There has been a marked improvement to Leeds’ play since Gracia took the reins from Jesse Marsch at Elland Road, but the 2-2 draw against Brighton was a chance missed when considering the results of their relegation rivals over the weekend.
Worryingly, Everton managed to end Brentford’s 12-match unbeaten run in the Premier League with a scratchy win, while Bournemouth surprised the bookies with a 1-0 win against Liverpool.
When Southampton nicked a draw against Manchester United on Sunday (12 March), it would have left Leeds fans that bit more worried that the fight against relegation could go all the way to the final day of the season.
If the fight to avoid the drop is going to be as close as many expect, Leeds’ far superior goal difference could be a major factor. Currently, the Whites have a goal difference of -11, compared to Southampton’s -21, Bournemouth’s -26 and Everton’s -18.
