Super Computer predicts Leeds United final league position after Brighton draw
Leeds United are predicted to finish 16th in the Premier League this season after their most recent 0-0 draw against Brighton on Saturday.
The Whites have not started this season well and after 13 league games, they have only registered two wins.
Sitting in 17th place currently, relegation is a serious threat for the Whites, but American polling website FiveThirtyEight have crunched the numbers which are favouring Leeds to stay up.
While these numbers are no guarantees of safety, they show that historically, clubs have survived from this current situation.
They also take into account other intangibles that play a role in determining scores for future games and hopefully, the results improve for Marcelo Bielsa’s side soon.
40 points are the magic number that sides facing relegation target, and Leeds are expected to finish with 42.
They still face a 21 per cent chance of relegation and Bielsa knows that he’s got to get a tune out of these players, who currently do not seem up to the levels they set last season.
Lethargy and complacency have kicked into this side and they are not playing with the same kind of freedom as they did last season and the year before in the Championship.
Pointing fingers is certainly not going to help, especially this early into the season.
Leeds have plenty of time to turn it around and hopefully, signing a player or two in January gives them that extra impetus needed to get over the line.
