Super Computer makes new Leeds United and Everton relegation predictions after Sunday twist
Leeds United are now predicted to be relegated from the Premier League after Everton won against Chelsea on Sunday, according to a Super Computer.
On Saturday, Leeds lost to Manchester City while Burnley beat Watford. Then, on Sunday, Richarlison’s goal was enough for Everton to win against Chelsea at Goodison Park.
FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer has now crunched the numbers and says that Leeds are the most likely team to be relegated now and have a 43 per cent chance of going down.
Burnley have a 21 per cent chance of suffering relegation while Everton’s chances are now 33 per cent.
Well, who saw this coming?
Even though Jesse Marsch’s men have been in decent form in the last few weeks, Everton and Burnley have really crept up on them.
We were always going to lose against Manchester City but it seems like those games in hand that Burnley and Everton had have played a role.
As it stands, Leeds are 17th. However, the Whites are just two points ahead of Everton in 18th and they have a game in hand.
Leeds’ remaining fixtures are against Arsenal, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford.
Everton have Leicester, Watford, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Arsenal to play.
Leeds are in massive trouble because we cannot see us getting more than six points from those remaining four points.
Everton, off the back of that morale-boosting win today, could get at least nine points from their remaining fixtures.
