Super Computer makes Leeds United relegation prediction after Newcastle defeat
Leeds United are predicted to finish 14th in the Premier League this season with 41 points to their name come May.
That’s according to FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer which gives the Whites an 89 per cent chance of survival this season.
Despite their 1-0 loss against Newcastle over the weekend which saw the Magpies shoot up the standings, Leeds are expected to stay up.
Newcastle, despite the three points at Elland Road, are predicted to go down with Watford and Norwich.
Burnley are expected to narrowly stay up with both Brentford and Everton below Leeds in the final standings.

Surviving relegation was the priority at the start of the season for Leeds and they’re on course to achieving that.
Looking at their summer signings and lack of activity in January, few expect them to replicate last season’s performance.
They took advantage of the promotion money and made some fantastic buys that led them to finish in the top half of the table.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have also been very unlucky with injuries so that certainly is something worth considering.
All in all, things are not quite positive in terms of results, but if league safety was all there was to fight for then Leeds certainly are well on course.
That said, they cannot keep dropping points in winnable games like they did against Newcastle where they should’ve buried the contest let alone come away from it empty-handed.
