Super Computer makes Leeds United relegation prediction after Everton loss

Leeds United have been given a 15 per cent chance of relegation after they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Everton over the weekend.

The Toffees ran riot over the Whites and made the difference between the two sides just one point on the Premier League table.

They’re finished to end up higher than Leeds after gameweek 38, but Marcelo Bielsa’s men are backed to survive the drop.

According to FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer, the Whites are predicted to finish 16th with 39 points on board.

Burnley, with 33 points are expected to get relegated, with Newcastle surviving by the skin of their teeth with 35.

Will take it

At this point, every Leeds fan will take Premier League survival, if offered it on a platter.

Bielsa’s men have endured a tricky season and have been faced with plenty of injury setbacks over the past few months.

Add to that, Raphinha’s form has now become a cause of concern, which has never been the case in his time at Elland Road.

With Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford still some games away from full fitness, this side has no other players barring the Brazilian capable of grabbing games by the scruff of their necks.

Most players have regressed since last season and there are serious doubts as to whether Bielsa has taken this group of players as far as he possibly could.

With no word coming from Victor Orta or Angus Kinnear, even they could be bracing themselves for a Bielsa exit this summer.
