Super Computer makes Leeds United Premier League relegation prediction after Southampton v Arsenal

Leeds United are predicted to survive despite Southampton picking up an unlikely point against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Saints held a 3-1 lead on 21 April but ended up conceding two goals in two minutes to settle for a 3-3 draw against the league leaders.

FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer crunched the numbers and they predict Leeds to end up with 36 points and in 16th place.

Hanging on

For Leeds to reach the number 36, they need to win two more games at least and that can happen as early as Fulham.

Even though it’s away from home, the Cottagers do not have much to play for this season and they’re there to be got at.

If not that game, they face Leicester and Bournemouth and these are clashes they can get four if not six points from so they’re going to be the main ones.

Javi Gracia knows that he needs to change a few things as despite playing on the counter attack, they’re shipping in goals aplenty.

They’re used to pressing high up the pitch and defending in that fashion and sitting back and playing a passive brand of football is clearly not working for them.

In other Leeds United news, a Whites player has a potential offer on the table and could seal his permanent Elland Road exit this summer.
