Super Computer makes Leeds United Premier League relegation prediction after Liverpool v Leicester

Leeds United are predicted to get relegated despite Leicester City losing 3-0 to Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday, 15 May.

With Southampton already relegated, Nottingham Forest, Everton, Leeds and Leicester are fighting for 16th and 17th place on the table.

FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer has predicted Leeds to end up with 33 points – two fewer than what Everton are predicted to get to stay up.

Going Leeds’ way

Liverpool smashing Leicester will certainly be a result that most Leeds fans would’ve wanted and they will be delighted to see the nature of the Foxes’ loss.

Dean Smith’s side appeared to lack belief and they looked dejected at full time which shows that they’ve nearly accepted their fate.

Leeds still have to do their bit and four points from their next two games may be enough but they have to pick up that first win under Sam Allardyce.

They gave Manchester City and Newcastle a tough game and there’s no reason to believe why they will not be able to do the same with West Ham and Spurs.

While the Hammers are not yet mathematically safe, they need everything going against their way to get relegated, which is not happening.

They could also look to rest players if they do make it to the final of the Conference League so Leeds have to pick up the three points against them.
