Super Computer makes Leeds United play-offs prediction after 0-0 draw v Sheffield Wednesday

An Opta Super Computer has predicted the final league position for Leeds United this season after just one win in five games for Daniel Farke’s side.

It has been predicted that the Whites are likely to finish between eighth and 11th, given their slow start to the 2023/24 campaign.

The Whites were recently held to a 0-0 draw at Elland Road to Sheffield Wednesday and are yet to celebrate a win in front of their home fans.

Results business

Leeds may be performing better with each passing game and Farke is getting his players to play an attractive brand of football, but that’s not enough.

Points are what will get the club closer to promotion and not having a single win at Elland Road is not an impressive start.

There are players out injured and new signings yet to be fully embedded into the first-team squad.

Daniel Farke

Georginio Rutter led the line in the last game with Joel Piroe playing behind him and that’s not a system that works.

Piroe is a proven goal scorer and he should be the one rather than the Frenchman who still does not seem to be the right fit.

Hopefully, Farke’s used this international break to tweak a few things as not everything that’s happening is correct at Elland Road.

In other Leeds United news, a Whites player now faces over 12 weeks out of action due to injury if the worst-case scenario takes place.
