'Leeds will have you on the edge of your seat' – Lawrenson predicts result in Spurs v Leeds game
BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted a 2-0 home win when Tottenham host Leeds United on Saturday lunchtime.
A win for Leeds would move them into the top half of the table and leave them on the same points as Spurs after 17 games.
Tottenham are currently in seventh place in the Premier League.
“This is such an intriguing match because of the difference in the way both teams play, and how both managers see the game,” Lawrenson wrote on the BBC.
“Leeds completely dismantled West Brom earlier this week, and their game plan will be ‘up and at ’em’ here too.
“That is exactly how Tottenham like opposing teams to be, though. I just feel it will play into Jose Mourinho’s hands a little bit, as his side look to get back to winning ways.

“It won’t be dull, though. It never is with Leeds – they have you on the edge of your seat, whichever end the ball is at.”
Incoming danger
Harry Kane and Son are the two danger men for Leeds to keep quiet.
Could Kane be distracted or even withdrawn from the squad after announcing the birth of his new baby boy yesterday?
That’s maybe clutching at straws but Leeds fans – as well as offering their congratulations – will be hoping that Kane’s new child keeps him up tonight.

A lot of people are predicting goals but Tottenham don’t really do that at the moment.
They haven’t scored more than one in their last four Premier League games under Jose Mourinho.
Leeds, meanwhile, have shored up their defence with two consecutive clean sheets.
Leeds go in as the big underdogs with the bookies – they’re 3/1 to spring a shock – but getting anything from the game would represent a big bonus for Bielsa.
