Stuart Dallas reacts to what Ethan Ampadu did during Leeds promotion party

Stuart Dallas was star-struck as Ethan Ampadu kicked off a party after Leeds United clinched promotion on Easter Monday.

Elland Road did not wait until Leeds’ automatic promotion to the Premier League was confirmed to start celebrations, as a 6-0 mauling of Stoke set the stadium rocking on 21 April.

Powered by a four-goal haul from Joel Piroe, the Whites all but confirmed their place in the top flight next season and turned their attention towards the game between Burnley and Sheffield United.

The Blades dropping points at Turf Moor was all the West Yorkshire outfit needed, and that is exactly what they got, with the Clarets claiming a 2-1 victory to confirm their own promotion as well.

Celebrations are underway in West Yorkshire.

Leeds players and fans were more than happy to wait at Elland Road until the evening fixture was finished, and it was well worth it.

The Whites started partying as soon as the promotion was confirmed, with the players and supporters celebrating together outside Elland Road.

Ampadu was particularly in a joyous mood, taking to social media to express his delight.

In one of the pictures he shared, the captain was seen placing a pyro flare between his lips, as if he were smoking a cigar.

Dallas was among those who responded to the post and was clearly pleased with what he was seeing.

“What a guy”, Dallas wrote on Instagram (21 April) along with a star-struck and a blue heart emoji.

Elland Road is joyous mood

Last year, Leeds were left heartbroken after losing against Southampton in the playoff final at Wembley.

Daniel Farke and Co. have made sure that is not the case this time, clinching promotion with two games still left to play.

The Whites’ season is not over until 3 May, when they travel to Plymouth, which means Elland Road will be celebrating the promotion for at least two more weeks.
