Stuart Dallas now likely to miss out of Leeds clash v Manchester United

Stuart Dallas is now likely to miss out on the Leeds clash against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The Evening Standard has shared the major update on Friday evening after some hope was shared earlier in the day.

Marcelo Bielsa admitted that Dallas has not yet been ruled out, but it looks as though things have changed very quickly.

This is the news that everyone will have been dreading.

Dallas limped off early on in the 3-0 defeat against Everton last week, and it looks as though it has been a waiting game ever since.

The Standard have shared their update hours after Bielsa’s update, so unless something has happened recently, it may have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Bielsa knows the importance of Dallas, and with Junior Firpo back to play at left-back, the Northern Irishman could play in midfield.

Huge.

Hopefully, this is not the confirmed news and we can have a surprise in the next 48 hours at Elland Road.

This is one of the biggest games of the season and the atmosphere is bound to be electric from the first whistle to the last, something Dallas would thrive on.

Leeds are a better team with their utility man in there, we all know that, and it would be crushing news if he was officially ruled out.

However, if he missed this game and it allowed him to start against Liverpool and Spurs in the following days after this one, it may be worth it.

Dallas is as tough as they come, though, and he will do all he can to get out there on Sunday, whether he is 50%, 75% or 100%.
