Stuart Dallas makes England joke after Leeds-born gag continues

Leeds United battled their way to a well-deserved three points against Fulham in the Premier League on Friday evening.

The Whites have numerous players disappearing on international duty now, with Kalvin Phillips and Stuart Dallas just two of the names to leave Thorp Arch.

Dallas will be joining up with Northern Ireland, not that BT Sport know that as they continue to label the utility man as “Leeds-born.”

Phillips will be joining up with the Three Lions this week and looked forward to that opportunity on his personal Instagram account last night.

Appearing in the comments was Dallas, who joked that he would see the Yorkshire Pirlo away on international duty in the next two weeks.

“Looking forward to it,” he wrote. “See you there mate.”

Do your research.

How this continues to happen we don’t know, but it is getting laughable.

Dallas appears to be in on the joke now, and it just makes us cringe when listening to BT Sport coverage this season, we thought it was meant to get better than Don Goodman?

Thankfully, it is worth listening to the below-average commentary on offer with the Whites being given upwards of £100million per season on this current television deal.

That is the joy of the Premier League, you earn a share of those riches and staying in this division consistently sets you up for years.

Dallas has been a massive part of this success, and all this will do is bring more attention to just how good he is; something he has rarely had through his career.
