Stuart Dallas drags Leeds United striker Georginio Rutter into the media room as image surfaces

Stuart Dallas dragged Leeds United player Georginio Rutter into the media room on Friday (3 February) and asked everyone to rate his dress sense.

Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross has shared the information on Twitter while reacting to an image first shared by the Twitter handle Leeds Everywhere.

Cross added in another tweet that it sparked “widespread laughter” judging by his dressing sense.

“Stuart Dallas just dragged him into the media room in this outfit. Asked us to rate his dress sense. It’s one way to break the ice,” wrote Cross on Twitter.

Big hopes

The Whites needed to bolster their forward department and they went after the Hoffenheim striker.

According to Sky Sports [15 January], the Whites paid £35.5m to sign the 20-year-old striker and broke the previous record transfer fee of £27m paid for Rodrigo from Valencia in August 2020.

Rutter is a vastly talented striker, and the club will have high hopes for him. Jesse Marsch probably will need him immediately after Rodrigo has picked an injury and will be out for six to eight weeks.

Patrick Bamford remains the other major option for Marsch, but Rutter will be required as well.

The Whited enjoyed a fantastic transfer window, where they signed a left-back and a midfielder as well. The club landed Max Wober from Red Bull Salzburg and added West McKennie from Juventus on loan.

The new signings will definitely add depth to the side and the results must improve now.

The Whites have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, but they need points on board. They are yet to pick up a win after the World Cup, and that is indeed a worrying sign.
