Steve Morison shares interest hotting up for Leeds United loan wonder Cody Drameh
Interest is growing in Leeds United youngster Cody Drameh from teams at the top of the Championship according to Cardiff boss Steve Morison.
The 20-year-old has been on loan with the Bluebirds since January but has made such an impression in that time that he has been nominated for the player of the season award at the club.
The full back pushed through a temporary move away from Elland Road in search of first-team football while Marcelo Bielsa was in charge, and his performances have apparently caught the eye of bigger sides.

Cardiff manager Morison, whose side is currently 17th in the Championship wants the youngster back but acknowledges that will be difficult.
Speaking about the United player and Manchester City’s Tommy Doyle he said, via Wales Online: “Unfortunately, they have come on loan to us, him and Cody, for example, and done so well, no doubt people will be looking at the other end of the table to us. They will be looking and thinking, ‘Imagine what they could be doing in our team!’
“You look at both of them, I’ve had phone calls from managers higher up the table on both of them players, asking what they are like as characters etc.
“They know where I stand on it all, those football clubs (Man City and Leeds United). If Tommy, Cody, whoever it was, wanted to pick the phone up and say, ‘Look, we want to come to you next season on loan’, I will make that happen.
“But I’m also a realist and understand that some people, we just can’t compete with.”

It is a highly encouraging sign that Drameh has performed so well, and suggests his prospects back at Elland Road are strong.
He may not even be available for Morison, or anyone else, to take him next season if Jesse Marsch sees a role for him in the first team.
With incumbent Luke Ayling now 30 there is no reason to think that the junior man cannot see reasonable game time.

And the injury problems at the club this year have shown that competent back up is always necessary.
The previous manager gave the young full-back a hand full of appearances in the first team, including two 90-minute outings against Arsenal.
But he has become a regular starter in South Wales, and having proven his consistency he is likely to be given a greater chance by Marsch.
The American has already benefited from the contributions of youngsters such as Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood so is unlikely to be hesitant if he believes Drameh is good enough.
In other Leeds United news, a key Whites star is “determined” to commit his future to the club imminently.
