Stephen Warnock hails ‘tenacious’ Leeds United ace Adam Forshaw

Stephen Warnock has been raving about Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshawfor his first-half performance against Liverpool at Anfield despite the Whites being 3-0 down.

The midfielder showed the same energy he has done all season whilst covering for injured Kalvin Phillips in midfield.

Former Liverpool and Leeds United player Warnock dubbed the 30-year-old “tenacious” as he caused Liverpool’s midfielders problems with him relentless pressing.

“He’s made a great start,” Warnock said on Premier League World Feed.

“He has been tenacious in everything that has happened so far, he’s not let anyone relax on the ball in the Liverpool midfield.

“He is bossing the players around him making sure that they are doing their jobs as well.”

Typical

What do you expect when you play man to man with one of the best teams in the world?

Leeds did actually start the game really well and as usual, Forshaw was excellent in the first half. He never stopped running and continuously caused Liverpool problems, but the team just weren’t set up right.

Bielsa has to learn from the same old mistakes all season long. Yes, he is one of the best managers in the world and when it clicks, the Whites can beat anyone, but it hasn’t clicked nearly enough this season which is why the team find themselves in a relegation scrap.

The Whites need to be more robust against the better teams like Liverpool who can punish you in the blink of an eye.

There is a serious problem at the club that needs addressing before the relegation nightmare becomes a reality.

In other Leeds United news, Marcelo Bielsa is “convinced” Leeds United handled the Robin Koch injury correctly.
