Leeds United will be looking to make it two wins in a row in all competitions when they take on Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday (22 January) at Elland Road.

The Whites are yet to win a game in the Premier League after the World Cup break, and Stan Collymore has predicted a 2-2 draw on Sunday People (22 January, page 58).

Brentford are in fantastic form at the moment, having managed four wins out of their last five in the Premier League, the other being a draw.

"Plenty of goals in this one, with both teams throwing everything at it," wrote Collymore.

Three points

The Whites need to get back to the winning ways.

They have been playing well in recent games but they need a win here to boost their confidence.

Leeds have been very busy in the January transfer window, and they have secured two signings already. And if widespread reports are to be believed, they are looking for more additions.

It’s time they must pick crucial three points, even if playing ugly.

In the previous game, Leeds played arguably their best football all season as they won 5-2 against Cardiff City, and they need a similar performance on Sunday.

Willy Gnonto has been in terrific form of late, while Patrick Bamford is back among goals as well.

The problem with Leeds is that they are horrible at the back. We have seen against Cardiff, they conceded two late goals so easily.

This has to stop, especially against Brentford who scored 11 goals in their last five games in the Premier League.
