Stan Collymore goes into Twitter overdrive after Leeds loss v Aston Villa, predicts relegation

Stan Collymore let loose on Twitter on Thursday evening after Leeds United crashed to a 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

The Whites were embarrassing throughout and never really looked like taking the game by the scruff of the neck at Elland Road.

Based on last night, Collymore has backed Leeds to join Norwich and Watford in the bottom three at the end of the season.

Writing on his personal Twitter account numerous times after the game, it started with a simple message with a picture of the score.

“Night all,” he wrote.

“The EFL Championship. Others need not apply,” accompanied a picture of the bottom six in the Premier League.

He finished off the night with a relegation prediction, and it was one that many Leeds fans have started to accept at this stage.

“Norwich, Watford, Leeds,” he said.

Shocking.

We simply couldn’t believe what we were watching at times.

The one thing Marcelo Bielsa promised is that you were always in the game and creating things no matter what the scoreline was.

Leeds simply gave up in the second half last night, and we can’t blame Jesse Marsch who has been thrown into this mess by the board.

Andrea Radrizzani was in the stands last night, and he will have serious questions to answer if he watches this club go down.

Not investing in January was the worst mistake he could have ever made, and he better hope that Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips are back sooner rather than later.

If results don’t come in our next three games, we can all but wave goodbye to the Premier League, and we wouldn’t have anyone to blame but ourselves.
