Spotted: Weston McKennie heads to London with Leeds United spell over for good
Weston McKennie was spotted on a train to London King’s Cross after his temporary spell at Leeds United came to an end, according to the Daily Mail.
The midfielder joined the Whites on loan from Serie A club Juventus in January until the end of the season.
McKennie is already heading back to his parent club after Leeds lost 4-1 to Tottenham on Sunday (28 May).

“Weston McKennie hopped straight on a train out of Leeds on Sunday night following their relegation from the Premier League as he prepares to head back to Juventus after his miserable loan spell at Elland Road,” according to the Daily Mail.
Sharing a video of McKennie on the train to London, Twitter user @timmahu wrote: “McKennie already on train back to Juve, just shows he has no passion for the club.
“Off to King’s Cross, probably straight to Heathrow.”

Frustrating spell
McKennie arrived at Elland Road with plenty of promise, but his spell at the club will perhaps be quickly forgotten about, with the club’s tense relegation battle dominating the headlines in recent months.
Now the time has finally come when the West Yorkshire outfit have had to say goodbye to the top flight, the time has also come to say goodbye to some senior players.
McKennie may be one of the first to leave the club following their relegation, but he definitely won’t be the last, with his fellow USA internationals Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson perhaps also eyeing a swift exit this summer.
Such players will absolutely want to be as far away from the Championship as possible, and they will no doubt quickly find their feet elsewhere, be it in the Premier League or abroad.
Midfield man McKennie probably doesn’t have a future at Juventus, but he looks set to have plenty of suitors this summer.
