It seems that Kalvin Phillips was not the only Leeds United player to pick up an injury in the 1-0 win against Reading on Saturday.
An image has emerged on social media of goalkeeper Kiko Casilla wearing a wrist brace on his right hand and with two of fingers wrapped up outside of Elland Road at the weekend.
The Athletic journalist Phil Hay reported on Sunday that despite completing 90 minutes, Casilla, 33, suffered a hand injury in the win over Reading and it seems that this image that is doing the rounds on Twitter has pretty much confirmed that.
Am I right in thinking Kiko has broken 2 fingers in his hand? pic.twitter.com/PvTRyip3W2

Another tweet by a Leeds fan after the match on Saturday also adds further weight to the claims that Casilla is injured.
Supporter Jordan Wilkinson claimed he was told by Casilla he had two broken fingers – which matches up with what you can see in the image of the Spanish goalkeeper.
So myself and daughter have just been speaking to kiko, he had his hand taped up, he said 2 broken fingers…just aswel with the ban coming, great 1.0 win today and 3 massive points to promotion. Come on leeds #MOT #ALAW

With the rumours circulating online, LeedsLive has listed Casilla as a doubt for Wednesday night’s clash against Middlesbrough at The Riverside, meaning that Illan Meslier could be set to make his league debut for the Whites.
There are also doubts surrounding Casilla’s availability for that match due to the FA charge for racist abuse that has been hanging over his head since September.
Casilla’s hearing took place last week but Leeds are yet to be told the outcome and whether or not the former Real Madrid goalkeeper will be hit with a ban.
Still, this hand injury suggests that the 33-year-old is unlikely to play against Boro on Wednesday night anyway and hopefully Meslier, 19, is ready to step up if needed.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has offered an update on Gaetano Berardi’s contract situation with his deal running out in June.
