Spotted: Larry Nance Jr shares image from inside Elland Road amid Leeds United takeover twist
New Orleans Pelicans basketball player Larry Nance Jr has shared an image from inside Leeds United.
The image comes amid the news that the 30-year-old will be part of 49ers Enterprises, the group that is in talks regarding a takeover of the Whites, according to Last Word on Sports.
Current Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani is expected to complete the sale of the club to 49ers Enterprises after a “breakthrough” was made at the beginning of the week [The Telegraph].

The Yorkshire outfit were originally set to be sold for a fee of around £400million, but that has dropped to around £170miilion following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
Part of the impeding ownership group, Nance Jr posted the image of Elland Road on his Twitter account.

Long time coming
Nance Jr. certainly isn’t the first sports star to get involved with ownership during his playing career, and he won’t be the last, given just how much money can be gained from such investments.
But Leeds fans probably won’t care too much about who exactly is involved in the ownership group, with supporters simply wanting the deal to be signed, having been forced to wait for so long.
Relegation to the Championship will still be taking its toll on the club and those who hold it close to their hearts, and it will do for quite some time, but a major takeover would represent a superb way to bounce back.
It is, however, just one of the issues ongoing at Elland Road. But importantly, new ownership should get the ball rolling on other aspects in and around the club, including the next manager in the dugout and the future of many key players.
