‘Spineless cowards’, ‘Toxic’, ‘Joke’ – Many Hull fans rage over what happened with Leeds fans

Leeds United fans will follow their club anywhere in the world – but they didn’t have to be as quite as extreme as that on Saturday with a trip to Yorkshire rivals Hull City.

Leeds ran out 4-0 winners with Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez and Tyler Roberts, who scored a brace, all getting themselves on the scoresheet at the KCOM Stadium.

But Leeds’ impressive performance wasn’t the only talking point in the game as, in the first half, a huge number of travelling supporters were taken into the away end at Hull’s stadium.

It seemed that because – as always – Leeds sold out their away allocation, a lot of fans bought tickets in the home end because Hull barely ever come close to filling their stadium.

Stewards seemed to have noticed this and allowed those fans to make their way into the away end, prompting chants of ‘we’re Leeds United, we’ll sit where we want’.

Hull fans were not at all happy to see how many Leeds fans had bought tickets in the home end and the fact that they were not ejected from the stadium.

Instead, Hull’s stewards treated those Leeds fans well and these supporters of the Humberside club have been raging about it on Twitter.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

In other Leeds United news, fans were blown away by this player’s display against Hull, with one saying he’s the “most underrated player in the league”.
