Some Leeds fans blast Radrizzani for January tweet: 'Sarcastic clown', 'Italian Bates'

A section of Leeds United fans are not happy with Andrea Radrizzani’s response to a concerned supporter ahead of the January transfer window.

Leeds have failed to win in their last three matches and there are clearly fears setting in about a possible collapse, similar the one that Marcelo Bielsa’s side suffered last season.

One fan on Twitter raised concerns about the club not spending and money on transfers next month.

Radrizzani responded via his personal Twitter account saying: “Great! We need lots of positive feeling and people as you. We use to do in my country. Enjoy the holiday. Thank god majority of us have intact faith in the lads, manager and myself. Good luck to you! Try to look at life positively and smile.”

It was a fair concern to raise for that Leeds fans and Radrizzani needs to realise that he does not have to respond to everyone on Twitter, especially if they’re being critical.

Leeds are showing signs of slipping up but are still playing well enough to grind out some important results where they’ve rescued wins or draws from seemingly perilous situations.

They still have the best manager in the league and some of the best players – but why not try and add to a squad that is so thin?
