Sky Sports to feature nine Leeds United games on Saturday in EFL special
Days are blurring into one at the moment but it’s Saturday and that means it’s football day for Leeds United fans.
In the absence of any live action, with the 19/20 season currently suspended, Sky Sports have stepped into the breach.
Leeds fans and Sky Sports might not have a great relationship but the pay-off for them re-organising the dates and times of so many Leeds matches down the years is now being seen.
Sky Sports are set to broadcast highlights of nine Leeds games today in an EFL special – by far the most of any club featured.
The action starts at 11.45am and goes all the way through to 10.30pm, with plenty of breaks to enable you to cook food and get beers from the fridge.
Saturday’s line-up is as follows…

- Wolves Leeds 2015 (1.15pm)
- Derby Leeds 2015 (2pm)
- Leeds v Aston Villa 2016 (4.45pm)
- Huddersfield v Leeds 2017 (5pm)
- Leeds v Sheff United 2017 (7pm)
- Leeds v Bristol City 2018 (8.30pm)
- Derby v Leeds 2018 (10.15pm)
- West Brom v Leeds 2018 (10.30pm)
Leeds were set to play Barnsley this weekend in the Championship and some fans had earmarked this as the day that the club would finally secure promotion.
The noise at Elland Road would have been immense.
These games don’t come anywhere near replacing what could have been happening in real life but it’s something.
And, in the absence of football in the real world, we’re more than happy to fill our day with some classic games and a couple of cold ones.
