Sky Sports shares update as Djed Spence undergoing Leeds United medical ahead of loan move
Tottenham defender Djed Spence is undergoing a medical at Leeds United ahead of a move to Elland Road, according to Sky Sports.
The publication reported on its website on Tuesday (29 August) that the Championship club are closing in on his loan signature.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Rennes, where he made 10 appearances.

Spence joined Tottenham on a five-year deal from Middlesbrough last summer, and has made six appearances for the North London club.
He is now closing in on a loan move to Leeds, who have already signed Joe Rodon on loan from Tottenham this summer.

Top signing
Spence already boasts plenty of experience at the age of just 23, having represented Tottenham in the Premier League and Rennes in Ligue 1.
But it mustn’t be forgotten that the youngster also has plenty of experience in the Championship from his time at both Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest, where he really was a standout.
Such experience is undoubtedly why Leeds are bringing him to Elland Road, with Spence representing the kind of player that is capable of progressing the Whites and bringing them one step closer to promotion back to the Premier League.
Of course, his impending arrival will leave fans wondering what the future holds for the likes of Cody Drameh and Luke Ayling.
Spence can play in a more attacking role on the right, but his presence at Leeds will most certainly limit the playing time of the current right-backs, and it could be the case that Drameh makes way before the transfer window closes.
In other Leeds United news, the club’s bid to sign one player has hit the skids after a “violent incident” happened on Tuesday.
