Sky Sports share exclusive Leeds United footage from Thorp Arch ahead of clash v West Ham United

Sky Sports have shared exclusive footage of Leeds United training at Thorp Arch on Friday morning (19 May) ahead of their Premier League showdown against West Ham United this weekend.

Sam Allardyce’s side travel to the London Stadium to face the Hammers on Sunday (21 May) after their 2-2 draw against Newcastle last weekend.

The four-goal draw left the Whites 18th in the Premier League and a point behind Everton with just two games of their season remaining.

Leeds United

As shared by the Football Daily Twitter account (19 May), Sky Sports shared a clip of Karl Robinson and Robbie Keane taking the Leeds United first-team training session, with the players in a group huddle before heading off for their warm-up stretches.

Now or never

After tough tests against Champions League opposition in Manchester City and Newcastle, this will be the litmus test for Allardyce and his side.

The Leeds boss will be hopeful of taking all three points from the London Stadium, considering the Hammers’ mid-week European exploits, which are sure to have been celebrated long into the night.

Whether West Ham will have some slightly sore heads is yet to be seen, but considering they have nothing left to play for in the Premier League and Leeds are fighting for their lives, an away-day victory is by no means off the table.

Despite this, the Whites have endured a terrible campaign away from home, managing to pick up just two wins from 17 attempts.

Something has finally got to give, and Leeds should be confident they come away from East London with three points in the bag.

If not, their Championship status could be all but confirmed.

In other Leeds United news, a £20million-plus move and an Elland Road exit for one first-team player has been scoffed at by a transfer journalist.
