Sky Sports reporter shares latest Leeds United manager news live from Elland Road
Leeds United would reportedly have their new manager in place early this week ahead of the games against Everton and Southampton.
The two clubs are in a relegation battle with the Whites and Sky Sports’ Tim Thornton claims that the hierarchy wants him to get time to prepare for the two six pointers.

Thornton said on Sky Sports, “There are two huge games coming up for Leeds – Everton this weekend and then after that a game against Southampton. Big relegation rivals.
“Ideally, Leeds would have their head coach in position early this week to prepare for those games.”
D-day approaching?
Leeds cannot hire a new manager on Friday and expect him to get his message across in one training session ahead of the Everton game.
He’s got to be given at least two if not three proper sessions with the players as he’s going to have a different tactical style to that of Jesse Marsch.
It’s important that the Whites get the right profile and also someone who’s got a track record of improving players along with playing good football.
Hopefully, they can convince Marcelo Gallardo even though he’s got reservations of taking over a job in the middle of the season.

A good salary along with certain structural changes can be given to him if that’s what he asks for and he then can be announced as the new head coach.
It remains to be seen in what direction the club goes in but whatever it is, they need to do it soon as there’s not long left for the two big games.
