Sky Sports pundit stunned after what Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville did v Bournemouth

Andy Walker has been impressed by Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville who carried on from scoring the winner v Liverpool as he won a penalty against Bournemouth.

The Dutchman was involved in one of the key moments of the first half of the 4-3 Leeds win as he was brought down in the box to win a penalty which was then scored by Rodrigo.

The hosts opened the scoring but were quickly pegged back with Kieffer Moore scoring at the other end, not giving them long to enjoy their lead.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed (05/11, 15:05), Walker, a Sky Sports pundit, said, “Brilliant start from Leeds. It’s taken Summerville just 60 seconds to get into it. Rodrigo then scores. He and Rodrigo have provided the perfect foil for Leeds.”

Same old

So many times this season, Leeds have started the game strongly and then gone on to make a mess of it in the second period.

The same thing happened again on Saturday with them taking an early lead, but failing to consolidate it and then conceding goals for fun at the other end.

However, they managed to clean up their act, especially when Jesse Marsch brought the youngsters off the bench.

Defensively, the team were all over the place and this has to be on Marsch more than any specific player in the side.

Marcelo Bielsa was sacked for his side conceding such goals and it’s clearly not acceptable.

Summerville did well and looked lively in bits but credit to Leeds for coming back so strongly in the second half to level things at 3-3 before scoring the winner.

We do not know what the future holds for Marsch and whether or not the board will continue to back him, but it seems likely that they will as six points from two games when the pressure is on him is quite impressive.

In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered Jesse Marsch’s “sack” verdict after what he heard last month.
