Sky Sports pundit shares verdict as Leeds United edge closer to signing Brenden Aaronson

Don Hutchison believes that Leeds United are making the right choice by pursuing a move for RB Salzburg attacker Brenden Aaronson.

According to Guardian journalist Tom Bogert, the Whites are close to completing a £24million move for the 21-year-old.

Having tried and failed to sign him in January, Leeds now look in pole position to secure a move for the American.

Via his personal Twitter account, Hutchison, a Sky Sports pundit, wrote, “Good player.”

Good signing

Aaronson is joining Leeds six months later than he should have but they will take him at the club regardless.

He has worked previously under Jesse Marsch, but he was a nailed on target even before the American was the manager.

Victor Orta and Leeds have often held out rather than paying a little extra for players as was the case with Rodrigo de Paul.

While they failed to sign the Argentine, they’re getting second-time lucky with Aaronson and he will be an exceptional signing for them.

Marsch does like to play with an attacking midfielder and the 21-year-old would be ideal to play in the hole in behind Patrick Bamford.

He could also drift to the wings and would undoubtedly be an upgrade on Dan James who has been underwhelming this season.

Apart from the American, Leeds do need to sign more players as they did not last summer and the results on the field reflected it.

In Leeds United news, an under-the-radar court case involving the transfer of a Leeds player has reached its conclusion with the final payout revealed.
