Sky Sports pundit predicts result of Leeds United v Arsenal

Joleon Lescott does not fancy Leeds United to even score a goal when they face Arsenal later on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Whites go into this game on some poor form while the Gunners sit top of the Premier League on the back of an impressive win against Liverpool.

They will start as favourites but Leeds will certainly want to use Elland Road to their advantage and make things as hard as possible for the London outfit.

Lescott, a Sky Sports pundit, told Livescore, “Arsenal’s confidence is sky high and I can see their fine form continuing at Elland Road on Sunday.

“The Gunners are playing with so much quality at the moment and there are so many players you could pick out who will cause problems for Leeds.

“Jesse Marsch’s men’s five-game run without a Premier League win looks set to be extended.

“Prediction: Leeds 0-2 Arsenal.”

Spoil the party

It’s not as foregone a conclusion as Lescott is making it out to be and Leeds will surely fancy their chances.

Getting a win may be unrealistic, but stranger things have happened in football and a draw does seem a possible outcome.

If Leeds start strongly, have the crowd behind them and show Arsenal that they’re no pushovers, we could be in for an enthralling game.

Luis Sinisterra’s return is a big boost and we do expect him to walk straight into the playing eleven with Patrick Bamford possibly making way.

This could mean Rodrigo will lead the line but if Marsch wants to play Bamford then the Spaniard could miss out.

The American will want a response from his players as they have looked soft in recent games and no better way to bounce back than with a spirited performance against the table toppers.

In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered Jesse Marsch’s “sack” verdict after what he heard this month.
